The two reasons why 'Bay of Pigs' invasion failed miserably were:

  • Castro had too 'large any army' to fight the 'invaders'.
  • Castro found about the invasion before it occurred.

EXPLANATION:

Although the invasion was a secret mission, many people knew about it and so Castro soon got to know about the invasion and was completely prepared to face the enemy and save his country. The US failed miserably at the mission and most of the invaders were captured and put in prison.
