The two types of crops are :-

  • Kharif crops
  • Rabi crops

Kharif crops :-

they are monsoon crops . they can grow in very wet and hot conditions . Sowing of seeds begins in the rainy season around July .

Rabi crops :-

they are non - monsoon crops . These crops required relatively cold and dry conditions to grow . Rabi seeds are sown at the beginning of autumn near November or December .
