Explanation:

here is your answer

  • Mixtures can be classified into three types: suspension mixture, colloidal mixture or solution, according to how they combine and can be separated. Suspension mixtures have larger solute particles, colloidal mixtures have much smaller particles, and particles in a solutions completely dissolve into the solvent.

hope it's helpful for you ☺️

hey !

Types of Mixtures:

Mixtures are classified into 2 types on the basis of composition:

• Homogeneous Mixture

• Heterogeneous Mixture

Homogeneous Mixture:

- These type of mixtures have a uniform composition throughout their bodies

Ex: Salt + Water Mixture, Sugar + water Mixture, etc

Properties of Homogeneous Mixture :

- Here, Particles are less than 1 nm(nano meter)

- Don't shows up tyndal effect

- Boundaries of the particles can't be distinguished/differentiated

- All solutions (Eg: Alloys) are the examples of this type of Mixtures

Heterogeneous Mixture:

- These type of Mixtures lack uniform composition throughout their bodies.

Ex: Sand + Water Mixture, Oil + Water Mixture etc

Properties of Heterogeneous Mixture :

- Here, size of the particles is in between 1 nm and 1 micrometer

- Particles are present unformly

- Shows up Tyndal effect

- Components can be easily identified.

- Most of the mixtures except Solutions and Alloys are examples of this type of Mixtures.
