There are total 7 types of pronoun
1.Personal pronoun-These pronoun stands for person or thing.Ex-for first person-l,me,mine,we,us,ours
for second person-you,yours
for third person-He ,she,her ,it,hers,its,they,his,them,theirs.
2.Possessive pronoun-A pronoun showing Possession is called possessive pronoun .
ex- This pen is mine..here mine is a possessive pronoun.
3.Demonstrative pronoun-These r used to point out objects or persons .ex- This is my home....this is a demonstrative pronoun.
4. Interrogative pronoun- These r used in questions.
ex- Who is your friend?...here interrogative pronoun is your.
5. Relative pronoun- These are used to join two sentences. .
ex-1.This is the man .
2.His son is doctor.
the sentence will be-. This is the man whose son is doctor. this the relative sentence.
6. Reflexive pronoun- The pronoun ending with self/selves use to refer back to the nouns and pronouns used as the subjects are known as reflexive pronoun.
ex- I hurt myself...here myself is the reflexive pronoun.
7. Emphatic pronoun- The pronouns ending in self / selves used to emphasise the subject or object are called as Emphatic pronoun.
ex- l myself spoke to her.....here myself is a emphatic pronoun
