  • It is the region of forest which has no restriction on cutting of trees or cattle grazing. About 18.1 percent of the total forest cover is categorised under this. This section is commercially important because it permits wood production by the felling of trees.
  • This land is also for cattle grazing. Despite such a small area in this sector, there is uncontrollable deforestation and soil erosion. There should be a decrease in area under this particular section because the forest is clearing out of this category.
