Organisms that excrete their wastes in form of ammonia are called ammonotelic organisms.Ammonia is highly toxic and water soluble so it is released by simple water diffusion. Eg: Bony fishes, tadpole,etc.

Organisms that excrete waste in form of urea are called ureotelic organisms . Eg: mammals

Organisms that excrete waste in form of uric acid are called uricotelic organisms. Uric acid is least toxic among these three. Eg: reptiles , insects,etc.
