Audible sound - sound between the level of 20 hertz and 20000 hertz. Audible to humans
Infrasonic sound- sound below 20 hertz. Audible to animals like whale,elephants, etc.
Ultrasonic sound- sound above 20000 hertz. Sound at this level may cause temporary deafness. E.g.. jet planes
