Vector borne Disease:

Usually a disease will be caused by a pathogen but in these type the disease along with the disease causing pathogen it needs an external pathogen to get transmitted and that external agent( it could biotic or abiotic)

Example:

Malaria is caused by the pathogen plasmodium but this pathogen needs a biological vector to transmit itself into the Human body and the vector here is FEMALE ANAPHELES MOSQUITO.

Dengue--> FEMALE AEDES MOSQUITO.

Blood fluke--> snail
