Vectors are quantities which have direction with magnitude (size) and Scalars are quantities which have magnitude only.

VECTORS HAVE MAGNITUDE AND DIRECTION BOTH . E.g Position, displacement, velocity, acceleration and force  
SCALARS HAVE ONLY MAGNITUDE E.g Temperature, speed, mass, and volume.
