Minerals generally occur in the cracks, crevices,faults and joints of the igneous and metamorphic rocks. Small occurrences of such type is called a vein and large occurences is called a lode

A vein is a distinguished sheetlike body of crystallized metals inside a rock. Veins develop when mineral components conducted by an aqueous liquid inside the rock mas is installed through precipitation. The hydraulic flow which is involved in the formation of the vein was due to hydro thermal distribution.

A Lode is a sediment of metalliferous ore which is enclosed in a gap or also known as the crack in a rock composition. It is also known to be formed from vein of ore which is inserted or deposited between beds of rock.
