Vertebrates -

  • 1. Brain box are present in the vertebrates called Craniata.

  • 2. Endoskeleton is present in vertebrates which is formed of cartilage or bones.

  • 3. Nerve cord is found dorsal and hollow.

  • 4. Heart is ventral in vertebrates.

  • 5. Haemoglobin is present inside the RBCs.

  • 6. There are many layers of epidermis in vertebrates.

  • 7. Vertebral column is present which is formed of vertebrae.

Vertebrate are classified in 6 sub phylum. They are -

1. Chondrichthyes - dogfish, string ray, electric ray, skate etc.

2. Osteichthyes - Rohu, sea horse, lung

fish, etc.

3. Amphibia - Frogs toads, salamanders, etc.

4. Reptillia - Lizards snakes tortoise, crocodiles, etc.

5. Aves - Peacock, pigeon Koel Ostrich, etc.

6. Mammalia - Kangaroo, hals, rabbits monkeys human beings etc.
