The non-functional organs in the present day organisms, but were functional & fully developed in the ancestral form.
- In the course of evolution, they have lost their function & have reduced due to change condition.
Ex: Coccygeal, Nicititating Membrane, Wisdom Teeth, Body's Hair & Appendix
