Weeds are the unwanted and uncultivated plants that grow on land. Weeds doesn't allow other plants to take proper nutrients.

Some of the common weeds are amaranthus [chaulai], wild oats [jawi], chenopodium [bathua], grasses.

Q. How to control Weeds ?

(I) Weeds can be control by sparying chemicals, known as weedicides such as dalapon, metolachlor [metachlor], siniazine, etc.

(II) Weeds can be control by cutting them at the bottom near the roots with certain tools such as harrow or trowel.

(III) Weeds can be control by simply uprooting them with hands.
