wood's despatch was an educational dispatch issued by Charles wood in 1854 outline the Educational policy that was to be followed in India 8 emphasize the practical benefits of the system of European learning according to which despatch European learning would improve the economy of India by expanding trade and Commerce as well as it's also improve the moral characters of Indians
