✨ hey here is ur answer ✨

PRINCIPLE ⤵

an electric motor is based on the principle that when a current-carrying conductor is placed in an external magnetic field then it experiences Force and moves in the direction of force .........

WORKING ⤵

IN THE FIRST HALF ROTATION ⤵

then current is passed in the coil ABCD with the help of battery then the coil experiences force . current in AB is from A to B and current in CD is from C to D . magnetic field is perpendicular to both
AB and c d directed from North Pole to South Pole of the magnet... using Fleming's left hand rule the direction of force on AB is downwards and on CD is upwards . due to this , the coil takes half rotation anticlockwise.
