To demonstrate the working process of diffusion we can do this simple experiment where we just need to burn an incense stick in a large and closed room's corner.

Observations:

After 20-30 minutes (depends on the size of the room) we will get the smell of that incense stick in the opposite corners of that room.

In this experiment the incense stick's smoke molecules are diffused throughout the whole air of that closed room.
