Thoughts on CAA citizenship amendment act:

• CAA or the Citizenship Amendment Act is a polarizing act which draws a divide between the privileged hindu demographic against the marginalized sections.

• Views on CAA is an act, it is inherently rooted in a well aware ploy of dividing the citizens of India.

• The main content of the act is to remove ‘unauthorised immigrants’.

• But the BJP government has only specifically targeted the marginalised muslim community which is an act of eliminating them.

• This act goes against one of our key features of the constitution which is democracy.

• Ensuing State terror against marginalised people, such as muslims, women and the trans community.

• Not to mention the atrocities that have been carried out in Kashmir and Assam, as a country CAA is a truly dark point in our democratic character.
