The foundation of nation is its villages. To make our nation strong, we need strong foundations. For that we have to empower our villages and this can be done with the help of an active Panchayat and people-participation. For an Active panchayat, we need an active Gram-pradhan who is aware of needs of his/her village and the plan and determination to do that.
