What are your views on ragging. How can students overcome it?

I completely condemn ragging in schools and colleges. Though almost every institution in India whether government or private is designing guidelines against ragging and discourage such behavior.
But ragging can still be seen in various colleges and schools which are placed amongst the top institutions in India. If you ask the students of AIIMS,IIMs,IITs,DU colleges etc.they will say that ragging has reduced a lot but is yet not over.
But it is my personal advice to all students that ragging is something that will take many more years to get vanished. If you are being ragged or harrassed,then plz do not take it so seriously into your head. You can take it lightly in a funny manner and forget what happened. Believe me the people (seniors) those are ragging you today,one day will stand for you too. For them, It is not there mission to torture you but just make you do insane things as they also faced the same experience when they had their seniors.
