VIEWS ON THE CASE OF AMITY UNIVERSITY

  • Amity Case is a classic example of feminism misused. Two female students were outside the Amity University campus in a car. In the parking lot, two guys,
  • Madhav and Harsh, asked the girls to park the car correctly. But the girls entered into an argument. During this altercation, one of the girls, named Komal Kumar, replied rudely stating that she would show her might.
  • After this incident was resolved, the boys went to their class. Komal however brought over 20–25 boys to those boys’ class. Despite the class teacher’s mediation, those accompanied boys started attacking Madhav and Harsh. Madhav had to be admitted to ICU.
  • When one of the boys went to file an FIR, they learnt that the girl had already filed a complaint against them in the name of feminism.
  • This is a typical case where the boys were pictured as culprits with the girl as the victim. But the reality is very different. It was Komal who falsified the incident, claiming it as feminism. The true purpose of feminism meaning equality is lost.
