When Brutus addresses the mob he tells that his love for Caesar was not less than theirs. He says Cesar was ambitious. He killed Caesar not that he loved Caesar less but he loved Rome more.He says he weeps for his and honours his as he was a great valiant and a great warrior but as he was ambitious i slew him .There is tears for his love ,joy for his fortune , honour for his valour and death for his ambition. I slew my best friend for the good of Rome. I have the same dagger with me when this country needs my death for its good.
