☞After Aurangzeb's death in 1707, many Mughal governors(subhedars and big zamindars began to establish their own authority). 

☞Delhi could no longer remain as an effective Centre due to the emergence of regional kingdoms in various parts of India.

☞The ruler of England, Queen Elizabeth I granted company a charter to trade in east. The company started trading as the rulers (Mughals) give them the right to trade. 

☞The company in due time transformed itself from trading to ruling in India and it acquired military functions. 

☞☞The company was based on Indian economy.
