i am writing in short.

it was spices mainly that attracted Europeans to India.

at first trade was the only motive but later on east india company took the advantage of foolish rulers of our country and decided to rule over india.

later on the empire went on to the hands of the queen, though.

The European trading companies of great opportunities in trade with India.

They could buy goods at a cheap price in India and carry them back to Europe to select higher prices.

This opportunity attracted them to India.
