The European traders were attracted to India because:-
1.It was highly profitable for their business.
2.They purchased Indian goods at cheap rates and sold them in Europe at high prices.
3.They were attracted to buy cheaply the fine qualities of cotton and silk produced in India which had a big market in Europe.
