The Kar98k is similiar to the AWM peformance-wise, but this rifle does not drop only on airdrops, it also can be found by scavenging through the loot locations. It deals high damage per shot and have the same 8x scope used on the AWM, but the sluggish firerate and bolt action mechanism hinders it's performance against closer targets.
After firing while scoped, the player will get out of the scope to re-bolt the weapon for another bullet.
