See in the beginning of formation of universe , Different matters have formed and three most important are the Normal Matter , The anti matter and the dark matter.

The Anti-Matter and anti- matter have collided and only normal matter and dark matter left ..

so , basically dark matter is a invisible and highly charged particle...and due to the dark matter the dark energy formed

imagine you are on a land with a shovel in a hand and you are ordered to make a mountain of soil of your height

now the first thing you will do is digging the land

1.you created a mountain

2. you created a crater by digging

now the crater will be considered as a dark matter

cause you created a matter which has two sides just like a coin one is the matter and the other is dark matter
