An increase in temperature causes the particles to move around. if u heat something long enough and high enough it will turn into a gas .when things gets cold particles also slow down.

can uhh explain this....WITH THE INCREASE TEMPERATURE THE KINETIC ENERGY OF THE PARTICLES INCREASE AND THEY MOVE FORWARD AND CHANGE THEIR STATE FROM ONE FORM TO ANOTHER THIS IS BECAUSE THE SPACE BETWEEN THE PARTICLES INCREASE AND THEY INTERMIX WITH EACH OTHER.THIS PROCESS IS CALLED AS DIFFUSION

when their is high temperature high temperature the volume of substance increases and when their is low temperature the volume of substance decreases. Thanks for asking question.
