Hey There! The Office of War Information i.e. OWI was a United States government agency created during World War II. Through radio broadcasts, newspapers, posters, photographs, films and other forms of media, the OWI was the connection between the battlefront and civilian communities.  Its purpose was to centralize the many information services of the United States government and create a single line of communication about the war to the American public.
