Good governance has nine core features- participatory, consensus oriented, accountable, transparent, responsive, equitable and inclusive, efficient and effective, rule of law and trustee of the governed.

So, good governance is clearly an ideal. However, in reality, it is not quite optimally achievable but still we should move towards it to ensure sustainable development.
