what came first egg or hen

I think hen because as I know in past a bird can't evaluate in next level and can't fly so it became a hen and gave us egg and can't fly soo

WELL,
I have an answer. THE 'EGG' is first......cuz, u asked literally about egg and that may mean any egg right??? so, dinosaurs are the earliest animals known. So, they laid eggs too before HENS.....so, EGGs are older and are born first than the hen.This may sound funny but, u got a satisfactory answer I hope :)))
