Hey there!

According to science, the egg came first. Here is the explanation --->

Before chickens, there were chicken-like birds belonging to the family of chickens. Now, when these chicken-like birds laid egg, and when genes fused together, there was a change in it - a mutation which made the baby different from its parents. And when the eggs hatched, an actual chicken- like the one we know now, came into existence. So. it is basically that the egg came first.
