What came first on this earth egg or chicken....i feel both it could be like a body was developed n then naturally covered with a covering and formed the first egg or the first organism was formed in side water got evoled came out of water modified and became the first chicken pls guide me i am really confused

i feel that the egg has come first as the chicken comes from the egg first...maybe some wrong fusion or due to the evolution the chicken has changed from Tyrannosaurus rex to hen.
