if the magnitude of the displacement be equal to the distance travelled by an object then the displacement is zero.
example:distance=12kms(same magnitude)
             displacement=12kms(same magnitude) displacement is 0

tanuverma: Oh my frnd i did it before u tell jst check....hppy??
nivasuhas: okk yarr cool
tanuverma: Hahaha

magnitude of the displacement can be equal to the distance in one- dimensional motion.
