The President of India holds three type of veto power;

• Absolute Veto: In which he/she can withhold the veto and the bill will be nullified.

It is usually used when the bill is passed while cabinet or private member resigned.

• Suspense Veto: In this, he/she can send the bill back to Parliament for reconsideration.

But if the bill is again passed without any change by the MPs consent then he has to take the final decision.

• Pocket Veto: In this, he/she doesn’t have to assent or return the bill but keep it pending till he wants.
