Protecting natural environment and ecosystem around us is very necessary for our own existence. we cannot servive and flourish without maintaining the natural balance.

Here are few thing we can do to protect and preserve it.

• First, we need to understand it's importance in our life. Unless we don't understand it's impressive, we won't care for it. henceforth, spread awareness, make it part of carriculum, sending the message to last corner is demand of time.
• Scientific and Technological Intervention- through research and Technological intervention we can mitigate the negative impact we have imparted over the period. for example CFL, LED reduced the power demand significantly as compared to florescent Lights.
• Reduce our dependence from Fossil fuels to renewable energy.
• we have to adopt attitude of Recicle, Reuse, Reduce and reinvent alternative for pollutants like plastic.
• Afforestation should be immediately taken into account on individual and government level.
• further Deforestation should be forbidden and a inclusive and environmental friendly initiative should be encouraged.
• Our policies should give utmost respect to environmental concern.
• Local/ community participation should be ensured and encouraged as their understanding and dependency is very important for maintaining it.
• we should appreciate and award the individual and institution endeavouring to make a positive change.
• Flora and Fauna diversity should be ensured.
• Stringent and evolving policy should be adopted.
• existing laws should be enforced effectively.

There are many more things need to be done and constant monitoring is requisite of time now. Clock is ticking and if we don't take decision now, perhaps we won't be able to do much. We must respect the mother nature. there is enough resources for our need but not for our Greed, this quote by Gandhi Ji summerize it well.
