Answer:

If my classmate is depressed and stressed i will suggest him following strategies to cope up this :

  • Exercise :

Take a  brisk walk for 15 to 30 minutes every day. Or you   can dance, exercise, stretch or do yoga. People who are depressed may not feel  like being active much. Try to get him to do it anyway. If you need a boost, ask a friend to train with you. Starting each activity  helps improve your mood. Keep it up.

  • Eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of water:

Some people with depression don't want to eat a lot. Some may overeat. But what you eat can affect your mood and energy levels. So with depression, you need to make sure you eat well. For most people, that means lots of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Limit simple carbohydrates and foods with added sugars, like "junk food" or desserts. Don't go  long without food. Even if you're not hungry, eat something light and healthy. And don't forget to keep  hydrated with plenty of water.

  • Express yourself:

When you are depressed, your creativity and sense of fun can seem blocked. But doing things that get your creativity flowing can help. Paint, draw or doodle. Sewing, cooking or baking. Write, dance or compose music.Chat with a friend or play with a pet. Find something to laugh about. Watch a funny movie. Do things that you  enjoy. Even  little. This helps change the depression.

  • Don't dwell on problems:

It can feel good to talk about a problem with a caring friend. But depression can cause people to complain, blame, and repeat problems too often. It can focus you  on what's wrong. It's okay to share your thoughts and feelings with people who care. But don't just let problems do the talking. Also talk  about  good things. Try to turn your negative thoughts into more positive ones. This can help your mood become more positive.

  • Pay attention to the good things:

Depression affects the way a person sees things. Things can seem sad, negative, and hopeless. To change your perspective, make  a goal of noticing 3 good things  every day. The more you notice what is good, the more good you will notice.
