Its 7 because when denominator is 7, the repeating decimal part is always 142857...(note it can start from any where) like 4285714.. etc

Toppr: Can u make it more clear to mee
aviralrastogi0p4uudc: This is from experience but it's almost like common knowledge. Divide any number not divisible by 7 and you will get the same trail of repeating numbers.
aviralrastogi0p4uudc: For example: 22/7 = 3.142857142...., 23/7= 3.285714285.... etc.
aviralrastogi0p4uudc: You can even use this fact to only get the first digit after decimal and continue for ex if you get 3.2 and you know that it is a non-ending decimal, you can just add 85714.. upto your required accuracy.

since the denominator is neither 2 nor 5 hence it is non repeating an reoccurring,i.e., irrational no.
