To put more mood into your writing, you have to write with emotion. Your writing has to have more detail. For example, If I write the sentence " I stub my toe." It sounds pretty boring, right? You need to put more detail and emotion. How much did it hurt? Did you break your toe? Hope this helped you put! :)

To evoke a better sense of mood, one can use simple words that easily and perfectly depict the mood.
Difficult words may be better at expressing the mood but using them in sentences is the difficult part and it ruins the feelings.
Simple words are the best at expressing feelings and mood.
