Tyre and air in them carries the load of the truck because tyres load carrying capacity depends upon the size of the tyre and the pressure of the air in it.

We use tyres in the vehicle to reduce the friction with the ground which will increase the velocity of that vehicle by resisting it's friction.
Instead of using only rubber made tyres, we use air filled rubber made tyres which decreases the more amount of frictional force.
That's why bigger air filled tyres are used in the trucks which carries a lot of transportation loads.
