Answer:

A question naturally arises as to why some substances are solid, some are liquid and some others are gases. The answer to this question is given by the kinetic molecular theory of matter. According to this theory, the matter is comprised of very tiny spherical solid particles like atoms and molecules. There exist an interparticle attraction forces among them. These particles in theSU matter are in constant vibratory motion. The manner which these particles remain in matter, the extent of their vibratory motion and the magnitude of the inter-particle force of attraction determine the three phases of theh matter and explain their characteristics.

In solid, the constituent particles are closely packed in a regular order within the bulk of the matter. Such an arrangement makes the particles in the solid very compact. The inter-particle attractive forces in the soliod are very strong and as a result of this, the vibratory motion of the particles is very weak. That is such particles can vibrate with in a very small distance of its mean posittion in the solid.

Answer

------------

The causes of existence of matter in different states:

1⃣Solid

2⃣Liquid

3⃣Gas

✍️The three States of matter exist due to the difference in the intermolecular force of attraction between substance.

✍️When the intermolecular force of attraction is stronger and molecules are closed Bond then the mattersolid.

Thank you..☺️☺️
