The main causes of the French Revolution was due to the inequalities that existed in different levels of the society. The aristocrats were considered to be the highest in the society. They ruled the nation. They imposed or levied heavy taxes on the peasants although the peasants had to work for several hours and for very low wages. Bankruptcy in the government and american revolution made the war to occur inevitably.
