region of terror during 1792-93 was caused by harsh rule of Maximilien robespiere he had rule over entire french very strictly in the beginning everything was good but when Maximilien become cruel everyone starts opposing him because he forced France people to stop the use of white flour and peasants were forced to sell their gains outside the country on fixed wages which were set by government ...even the members of his own group start opposing his policies ..who opposed his policies he send them to guillotine . finally all people starts opposing him and send Maximilien to prison .
