The unwanted particles such as smoke, black fog which pollute the air is called air pollution.

The smoke and black fog coming from industries, the smoke which which is produced after burning wood or cow dung, harmful gases released by refrigerators, AC I.e CFCs, burning of coal which release methane which is a green house gas also causes air pollution.

We can control by following ways

Do not letting the smoke and gas produced by industries escape in the environment.

Switching off fan and light when not in use as burning of coal is the main source for generation of electricity.

Using public transport and minimizing the use of private vehicle.

Turning off vehicles during traffic jam, red lights as vehicles produce smoke.

Using LPG or natural gas as fuel as far as possible. The use of wood and cow dung must be reduced especially in villages.
