When two different materials are rubbed together, there is a transfer of electrons from one material to the other material. This causes one object to become positively charged (the electron loser) and the other object to become negatively charged (the electron gainer).

Answer:

Electrons and protons

Explanation:

We know that atoms make up everything. Electrons and protons are subatomic particles, in the sense, they make up atoms. Electrons are negatively charged and protons are positively charged. We also know that negative and positive attract. But in our everyday life, everything has equal number of protons and electrons, hence we don't see any attraction or repulsion in our macroscopic level. But if the balance in that number is disturbed, we begin to notice the attraction and repulsion between objects.

Hence, we can say that its basically the electrons and protons that creates charge on objects
