ACID RAIN IS CAUSED WHEN TOXIC CHEMICALS LIKE SULPHUR AND CARBON MONOXIDE ARE RELEASED IN THE AIR BY FACTORIES.WHEN THE RAIN STARTS THEY COLLECT THESE TOXIC SUBSTANCES AND CAUSE ACID RAIN.

There are gases like nitrous oxide and sulfuric oxides present in the air when it mixes with the water droplets it forms sulphuric acid and nitric acid and does it makes the rain acidified which causes acid rain
