Hy,
Oral manifestations of Vit B12 include-
Glossitis, i.e., inflammation of tongue.
Absence of papilla from tongue, Hunter's glossitis is a condition when all the papilla from the tongue are missing.
Pallor of oral mucosa.
Vit B12 deficiency causes Megaloblastic anemia, and is more common in pure vegetarians as vit B12 is only present in animal food and dairy products.
Treatment includes injections of Vit B12 weekly.
