Answer:

Causes of water pollution are:

1) many people wash their utensils, clothes and bath their animals on river banks..

2) dirty water from industries and factories are flown into the rivers or ponds...

3) many people throw garbage in a big amount near rivers, which influence the rivers..

4) in many house water pipelines from toilets or bathrooms are opened near the rivers...

Now...

It's a protest because water is an essential part of our life and if it would be polluted and if we use that water then we may become ill... as water is used in many day to day life activities like..

*washing

*drinking

*bathing

*cooking..... and many more...

Though on earth water is available on large amount but we can't utilise all of the water as much of the water is salty... and salty water can't be used by us....

This, we must not pollute water...
