Wind is caused due to the movement of air from one place to another.Due to solar radiation,Air gets heated and rises upwards.This creates an area of low pressure.Now cooler air from adjacent high pressure area passes into this area .This creates breeze and wind.Various factors affecting the movement of wind like uneven heating of land and water,rotation of the earth,and mountain barriers.
