After the grandfather comes to know about his daughters’ greed and meanness, he decides to have a new will made by his lawyer. In this new will he wants his all assets to be given to her/him with whom he will be living with at the time of his death. Since has decided to get married to Mrs. John Shorrocks, the owner of Ring O Bells, he will be making her the nominee of all his assets. He may give something to Victoria whom he loves a lot.
Hearing this Mrs. Slater and Mrs. Jordan feel sorry to him and request him to consider them also while doing the alterations in the will.
