current is halved if resistance is doubled

resistance is halved if current is doubled

coz we know current is inversely proportional to resistance

When in a circuit,
a) the resistance is doubled (with potential across the circuit remaining equal), the current through it is halved.
b) the current in the circuit is doubled (by doubling the potential difference across the circuit), the resistance remains constant, however with double potential drop across it due to twice the current.
